Terence Shepherd CEKGT, RPSGT

Nationally Certified, EKG Technician

Nationally Registered, Polysomnographic Technologist

NEI Certified by NeuroScience, Inc.

'Neuro-Endocrine-Immune Supersystem Educator'

Terence Shepherd has combined his training as an EKG (electrocardiography) technician with that of cardiac surveillance to work within the cardiology department at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. In this role, he was responsible for assisting cardiologists in their care of patients - monitoring, identifying, and reporting to them life-threatening heart rhythms and other medical emergencies as they arose with their heart patients.

In 2011, Terence became nationally certified in the field of sleep medicine, as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), and is active in the emerging science that connects sleep quality to healthy weight management.

He recently achieved specialized training by NeuroScience, Inc., through their NEI Certification program. This involves applying advanced information and research relating to the connection between the neurological, endocrine, and immune systems called the 'SuperSystem'.

He is the only RPSGT in the state of North Carolina to have achieved all three of these advanced-training certification standards.

He serves as an adjunctive consultant to Dr. Yerby (NMD) and 'Optimal Health Resources', in the area of neurotransmitter testing, weight management, and sleep quality.

Terence Shepherd is a native of North Carolina and is a professional member of the 'Carolina Sleep Society'.

N.E.I. Certified      C.S.S. - Carolina Sleep Society
